Where I would not overstate it is reliability.

There is no solid current evidence proving Briggs is universally more reliable than Generac, Kohler or Cummins.

So my buying rule is:

Calculate the load → compare fuel-specific output → compare the complete installed quote → verify the exact warranty → judge the local dealer.

For a natural-gas home needing around 18–22 kW, Briggs & Stratton is particularly interesting because it can avoid some of the NG derating seen on competing models.

If the local Briggs dealer is strong and the installed quote is competitive, I would have no problem choosing it.

If the local dealer network is weak, the specification advantage can disappear very quickly.

The best standby generator is still a system, not a red, grey or beige box sitting beside the house.
